If I'm being completely honest, I really enjoyed performing this parody, although I will admit my throat definitely didn't enjoy it. The song I was parodying, One Way Dream, came from a game called Sonic Frontiers, and the whole point of the song was to give a message from the developers to the players, to me that song was like message telling me to continue aiming higher despite the issues (probably what the message is to begin with...) and that's what I want to aim for. Now what I did for the parody was pretty much irony and overall a funny story I came up with. How I wanted the parody to portray was simple as that, what was difficult was the actual singing, when I was practicing this at home, it so much air to even reach some of the high notes in the final, and you could tell I was struggling (although since it was a parody, it was even more funnier), but overall, I enjoyed every bit of doing this, and I can't wait for what's next!
